How we review investment platforms
Every platform on Veridian receives a score built from six weighted categories, evaluated against a fixed, documented rubric rather than marketing claims or promotional placement.
Security & Regulation
Custody architecture, historical security track record, and the clarity and verifiability of any regulatory licensing the platform discloses.
Fees & Pricing
Trading commissions, spreads, account fees, and how clearly the full fee schedule is disclosed relative to headline marketing claims.
Trading Experience
Platform stability, order execution tooling, charting depth, and general usability across web and desktop.
Investment Selection
Breadth and depth of available asset classes, markets, and account/product types.
Customer Support
Availability, responsiveness, and quality of support channels, based on documented response benchmarks.
Withdrawals & Funding
Deposit and withdrawal method variety, processing speed, and transparency of any associated fees.
Our review process
Documented research
Analysts collect fee schedules, terms of service, and product documentation directly from each platform.
Weighted scoring
Each of the six categories is scored 0–10 against a fixed rubric, then combined using published weights.
Editorial review
A second analyst reviews the score and write-up before publication to check for consistency and bias.
Periodic re-checks
Reviews are revisited on a regular cadence and whenever a platform materially changes its terms.

A note on regulatory claims
Veridian does not assert a platform's regulatory licensing or security certifications unless we can independently verify them against a primary source, such as a regulator's public register. Where we have not completed that verification, our reviews say so explicitly rather than repeating a platform's own marketing claims.
